Off-grid, Decentralized,
Sovereign Compute.
A factory-built container that turns falling water into compute. It goes where the water is, not where the grid is.
The engine inside
HydroBit is the engine powering Echo.
Echo is a social network built so that no company can switch it off — the last social you'll ever need. HydroBit's compute, and the Bitcoin reserve it mines, are what keep it running.
See EchoDeployment
Flown in. Running in one to two days.
The unit is sized to be sling-loaded under a surplus Black Hawk-class helicopter. That opens remote backcountry with plenty of falling water and no people: sites, often far from roads and regulated waterways, that a truck and crane could never reach. Set down on a pad, connect the penstock, and the unit can be producing within one to two days, almost anywhere on earth.
Every site still needs its own legal and environmental review before anything is installed.
Candidate regions
Thirteen places on earth where the water already falls.
These are candidate regions for a first deployment, chosen on head, flow and the presence of high-gradient terrain. They are not secured sites, and no land, water right or permit has been obtained anywhere on this globe.
- 01Pacific Northwest
- 02British Columbia
- 03Alaska
- 04Sierra Nevada, California
- 05Central America
- 06Colombia
- 07Peru
- 08Chile
- 09Iceland
- 10Norway
- 11Nepal
- 12New Zealand
- 13Eastern Africa
Read this before the map. These are candidate regions, not secured sites. HydroBit holds no land, no water rights and no permits, and has not approached a single landowner or authority in any of these places.
Introductions
Introductions are by conversation.
A small number of seed investors, and operators or landowners with the right water. If you see what this is, write.
